     Madden is a creep – this explains a lot about what’s going on down at the cop shop. Where were the Defund the Cops people when this guy’s contract was approved?

     This is why people hate the cops.

       And when he got the job didn’t he get a higher salary than his predecessor? What qualified him for that? It’s just another example of this council giving the store away to the public employees. Business as usual.

       Yes, thanks for that reminder. Madden came in at least $25,000 over his predecessor O’Brien. I think it is prudent business practice that you hire new people at lower salaries, but in the public sector they have it the other way. Especially with Public Safety, and nobody ever questions that. I also think a person who is more interested in their compensation than what’s good for the city is a poor choice for an employee. These people so obviously care more about enriching themselves than doing the right thing, I can’t believe the voters don’t see that.

       Well, with the extra $25,000 maybe Madden can afford to take lessons on how to wear a mask. 🙂

       However, if he did I’m sure he’d put it on his expense account and the taxpayers would pay.
