   ‘Councilmember Fillmer has submitted a request to agendize a discussion regarding the pension situation in the City. Due to the increasing costs and unforeseen “catch up” to the pension liability it may be time to discuss other options for non public safety employees and all new hires.’

   Why do “public safety employees” get a pass?

     How about the public safety assessment for Downtown – does this mean, every neighborhood in town should form a public safety assessment district so we get police too? What kind of crap is that?

     And, I have to wonder – is Morgan asking for campaign finance reform – no more PAC’s? No more employees’ unions?
