I never met with Dave. It isn’t true and I didn’t say it. I’d take a polygraph if you please or swear upon a bible. You need to remove the comment.Andrew Coolidge

Andrew brought up the topic of candidates on the same side splitting the vote, and helping the other party. Because that’s the first time I really had participated in a discussion of it. I remember Andrew talking about it more in regret that he lost by 222 votes to Randall Stone, but not so much about how other people shouldn’t have run. BTW why is it conservatives dislike Randall so much?! I like Randall, he’s the most fiscally responsible of the 5 progressives on the Council. And he takes more of a Libertarian view when it comes to the excessive powers of the State, i.e. police serve the people, police shouldn’t try to intimidate the duly elected representatives of the people (eg officer Boothe verbally assaulting Randall in response to Randall’s fiscal conservatism with regard to police wages and benefits, officer Durfee demanding that Randall abdicate his duties as our representative with regards to police wages and benefits).

Yes, Stone’s name was part of the conversation – sorry you don’t remember the rest. I took notes, as usual, but I won’t have another meeting without a tape recorder.
