San Francisco Federal Court Rules Warrantless Medical Marijuana Raids Violate the US Constitution – Measure A allows warrantless raids

19 Oct

Butte County Measure A will be a disaster for the taxpayers. Allowing anonymous complaints is just outrageous, it’s going to start neighbor wars, and the courts will be completely bloated with suits against law enforcement agencies.

No on Measure A. If you can’t support Measure B, at least vote NO on A.

Get real Juanita. I strongly support Measure A and oppose Measure B. What you fail to mention in you blog site is that Measure B contains a huge “clinker” in that if passed would forbid any further adjustments to the Marijuana Ordinance by our elected representatives – our Board of Supervisors. A clear challenge to our Constitutional Right to redress through our elected representatives. This while they tout protecting their “Property Rights”. This clearly to react to widespread and rapidly increasing crackdowns/complete prohibition of Marijuana growing are being enacted by cities and counties throughout California. Pass Measure B and more out of area “growers” will flock to Butte County as a haven.

It appears to me that Cheech and Chong are alive and well are are now – at least temporarily – camping out in an old RV in Butte County. They have brought their minions with them. I’m hearing they are suggesting self guided tours fo voters who wish to see their commercial grows up close. But, maybe they are raising Kangaroos behind those tall ugly fences.

Also, the buzz is that the Chico Taxpayers Associaton (apperat to be You?) ordered up a phony slate mailer that was sent to Republican voters – if that is true I find it contemptible.

Wish I could sign off with Respectfully – but can’t bring myself to do that.

Gordon, I agree with that “clinker” – I don’t want the board of stupes to be able to trot this ordinance out every six months and spend $taff time tinkering on it, just to make a few campaign donors happy – you?

Chico Taxpayers endorses Measure B and says NO to Measure A but has not “ordered” any kind of slate mailers, we’re not a PAC. See my previous posts – I’ve made it clear I endorse B, but I have not given any money to anybody to run any mailer. Thanks for spreading those rumors – that says more about you and your friends than it says about me.

By the way, are you talking about the mailer that Doug LaMalfa, Jim Nielsen, Mark Sorensen, Reanette Fillmer and Andrew Coolidge all paid to be in? The “California Republican Taxpayers Association Voter Guide” that also says “No on A, Yes on B”? I gave my endorsement to the Measure B folks, they can do what they want with it. Now I realize – I’m glad I didn’t end up on the same mailer with Jim Reed or Heidi Hall, or Scott Gruendl for geeshy sakes! I’m still kind of disgusted to be on the same mailer with Fillmer, Sorensen and Coolidge, but I think it’s hilarious that they are stuck with me and the pot ordinances. Especially given Stephanie Taber’s little hissy fit in the letters section, to think that all those idiots would just pay to be in whatever mailer that comes around the pike. That’s all legal Gordon – maybe you should mount an effort to get PACs and their slate mailers out of our elections, I’d jump on that, even with you!

I don’t need your respect Gordon, I don’t even know or care about you.

Your comments on Measure B no doubt contributed to the passage of Measure A. The fact that you don’t know me or care about me gives me great satisfaction.

Gordo, the election’s over, you can go back to chasing cars in front of your house.
