   CARD to discuss marketing campaign, budget

   Marketing campaign? WTF? Who writes these articles?

   They spend nearly 100 grand in the last 4 years on scheming and propaganda to convince voters to raise the property tax while keeping quite on their pension situation and that’s called a marketing campaign by the Enterprise Wretched. Just what I’d expect from the Little man.

     Thanks Bob. Attending these meetings, you see the difference between what happens and what Urseny reports. Actually, her coverage has improved, but she’s embedded – she just calls or visits Willmann and gets the story Willmann wants in the paper. I haven’t even seen Urseny at the last couple of board meetings, but wow, somehow a story appears in the paper.

     The woman they’re considering as consultant is a member of the Park Commission, which seems inappropriate to me. Secondly, she’s an idiot who ran a failed company here – anybody remember Green Feet? The natural products store? She was selling the same stuff Raley’s sells and bopping the price up about 30 percent. Then she tried to take it online, but that was also a bust. She still uses it as her major accomplishment. She’s been trying to get her snout in the public trough for years, now look – CARD hires her as yet another consultant.
